2017 Honda CBR 10000 RR Launched in in India

It took Honda Nine years to give the CBR line up a overhaul which the lineup has deserved since all its main rivals are getting updated and getting better.So Honda decided to step in the game by launching all new CBR 1000RR and its premium offering CBR 1000 Fireblade SP
All new design
In this latest avatar Honda decided to shed some weight and make lighter and faster.The new CBR is now 16 kgs lighter and output has been bumped by 11PS the total output of the 999cc inline four is 192PS@13,000 while peak torque is114Nm@11,000.

The new flagship looks much more aggressive and sleeker design,the bike looks more edgier now.The all new twin headlamps loosely resembles the ducati panigali's unit.The turn indicater are now integrated into the rearview mirrors.More than 90 percentage of the components are all new


Edgier Design Language
The electronics department of the bike also got an update to keep the bike under control its comes equipped with gyroscope assisted ABS and 9 level traction control,Selectable power modes depending on the riding conditions and selectable engine breaking controls.The instrument console is replaced by a high definition TFT display

Honda's flagship comes in two variants the standard CBR 1000RR and the premium model CBR1000 RR fireblade SP.The fireblade gets a quickshifter as standard where as the base CBR 1000RR gets it as an optional extra.Over this the fireblade gets Ohlins semi active suspension, a 43mm NIX30 fork and TTX36 shock at the rear

The CBR 1000RR is priced aggressively to compete with the Ninja ZX10R which is one of the most affordable litre class super sport bike.The CBR 1000RR is priced 18.1 Lakhs  mean while CBR 1000RR fireblade SP comes at a premium of 21.9 lakhs thanks to the quickshifter and suspension upgrades but even the fireblade is priced comparatively lower than the New Yamaha R1 and Aprilia  RSV4
