Abhishek Benny Photography  W hen you ask someone which is the fastest animal in the world most of them will agree with cheetah, but its the fastest "land animal".That title goes to Peregrine falcon  with a diving speed of 389 km/h, which easily beats the Cheetah.Back in the 90's when the engineers in Suzuki was building the fastest bike at that that time they didn't have to think twice about the name. They named their bike Hayabusa which is Japanese for  Peregrine Falcon. Abhishek Benny Photography   The bike was an engineering marvel at that time and it held the title of the fastest production bike for years. The bike could easily reach a top speed of 320 kmph thanks to its 1300cc engine producing close to 200bhp, That's more that your average car.It was the first production bike to break the 300kmph barrier, thus becoming a legend and attaining a cult status. It was a benchmark set for a decade. Thar in its natural habitat   (Abhishek Benny Photography) What I saw was breathtaking. That place was supposed to be a barren land but days of nonstop rain changed the place and my friend was gunning his Thar through it.It was amazing, The vehicle was in its natural habitat. It is supposed to be driven like this instead of using it as a commuter vehicle. The Thar was able to wa

The Long way

Abhishek Benny Photography W hen it was time for me to go back to Punjab after the summer, without thinking twice I opted for train instead of flight, sure traveling via flight is faster and the ticket prices are getting cheaper day by day.My brain was telling me to take the flight and my heart was longing for a long train journey. So why all the effort?,You don't have sit all day strapped in and the air hostess breathing down your neck throughout the whole journey if you do something weird or different. So literally if you are in train you can travel like a king no one to control you unnecessarily No check in and security procedures,we can walk around the compartments, eat whatever we want.A whole lot of freedom  Abhishek Benny Photography      It took nearly 3 days to reach Punjab but the journey was worth it.I booked the ticket alone and I wasn't expecting anyone that I know on the train. To my surprise there were lot of familiar faces on my compartment almo

Abhishek Benny Photography   S elling over 18,000 units in September 2018 Tata occupied the 4th position in the sales chart beating Honda and Toyota in a comfortable margin. Tata motors has been growing rapidly over the last months due to the sales of the hatchback Tiago and the compact SUV Nexon, which have been accounting nearly 75% of their sales.Almost 8000 units of Tiago is being sold per month, which is a huge achievement for Tata considering the fact the sales of their last model Bolt was under 500 units per month during its end. Abhishek Benny Photography   After the failure of Bolt and Zest, the company realized that something drastic has to be done in order to save the  company. So they did their homework and came up with a new batch of products with a new design language called Impact design. The Tiago was the first one to be born out of this new philosophy.with its fresh design and features rivaling cars two segments above it. Tiago sold like hot cakes. The build q

The World of Automotive Photography

Abhishek Benny Photography    A utomotive Photography is one of the fastest growing segments in Photography today. It is one of the most exciting and rewarding genres of photography filled with people who are passionate about cars and driving.Like any other field there is tough competition in this field. Its very Important that you need a clear pathway  in order to create your own style to stand among the crowd. Abhishek Benny Photography   One should make their own style which make them unique. There are different techniques like Light painting, using light to sculpt the shape of the car and then there is panning shots which Introduces motion blur to convey speed The common issue seen in beginner photographers is that we try to capture take two dimensional images and stick with same posture and style.we have to experiment with ourselves to get better results. Its always about your perspective. We have to capture action and the essence of the car

The Story Behind the Photos

THE ROLLER Abhishek Benny Photography     This is one of the most difficult photo which I took,It is also one of my favorites because it was my first ever roller shot.A roller shot of a car is to take a photo of a moving vehicle from another moving vehicle with very low shutter speed to get the motion blur.To get this shot I had to lie down in the boot of a swift dzire to get this angle while both the vehicles were moving at 40kmph. This shot required a lot of coordination and teamwork.I needed two drivers and one more person with me in the boot to hold the boot lid open. It took a lot trials to get the perfect shot. But still it was worth the effort. THE RING Abhishek Benny Photography    This picture has confused many people because of the red and white light trails. Its actually a scooter after putting the camera on timer I rode it around the car, since the shutter speed of of 25 seconds a light trail of the headlight and tail light of the scooter was formed t
