  Selling over 18,000 units in September 2018 Tata occupied the 4th position in the sales chart beating Honda and Toyota in a comfortable margin. Tata motors has been growing rapidly over the last months due to the sales of the hatchback Tiago and the compact SUV Nexon,which have been accounting nearly 75% of their sales.Almost 8000 units of Tiago is being sold per month, which is a huge achievement for Tata considering the fact the sales of their last model Bolt was under 500 units per month during its end.

  After the failure of Bolt and Zest,the company realized that something drastic has to be done in order to save the company.So they did their homework and came up with a new batch of products with a new design language called Impact design.The Tiago was the first one to be born out of this new philosophy.with its fresh design and features rivaling cars two segments above it. Tiago sold like hot cakes.The build quality and refinement was top notch in the segment.The success of Tiago gave Tata motors a boost.They Introduced new cars like Nexon,Tigor and Hexa. All of them has been accepted by the masses and is being sold well

  The acquisition of Land Lover and Jaguar helped Tata gain this momentum. They incorporated that technology into Tata cars for example the Harman Kardon music system used in luxury cars are available in a hatchback costing under 6 lakhs.The upcoming Tata SUV Harrier is sharing its platform with the Land Rover Discovery.And its going to give its rivals a run for their money.
